With over 15 years of experience in the industry, she combines her musical talent with absolute professionalism and a ‘can do’ attitude.
Harriet’s harp has taken her to diverse locations and star studded events including a performance in front of the late Queen Elizabeth II as part of the celebrations for her Diamond Jubilee, an appearance at the BRIT Awards, and a live duet on TV with Dermot O'Leary for Channel 4's Celebrity Big Brother. Her versatility as a harpist has led to many interesting engagements ranging from dressing up as an angel to appear at London’s Fabric Night Club, to recording at the iconic Abbey Road Studios. Her TV credits include BBC 1's Songs of Praise, Channel 5’s The Hotel Inspector, a live appearance on Good Morning Britain, and a role in ITV drama Harlots. For several years she performed regular recitals on cruise ships including Cunard’s legendary QE2, and also Fred Olsen and P&O cruises. Harriet has provided harp music for weddings and functions in all the major London hotels including Claridges, The Ritz, the Savoy, Connaught, Landmark, Lanesborough, and Dorchester hotels. She is also in demand as a harpist playing for high profile brands such as Patek Philippe, George Jenson, La Prairie and British Airways, with her golden harp adding to the wow factor at any event.
Harriet is a highly experienced function and wedding harpist who will tailor her harp music to suit each individual event and client’s tastes. Her repertoire is enormously varied and she is happy to take requests with advance warning, and where possible, on the day. She is equally as happy performing light classical, folk or jazz tunes, as she is pop and Bollywood harp music. She regularly updates her set list to include the latest chart hits and popular wedding music, and if you would like help choosing music for the wedding ceremony, she is able to provide a comprehensive selection of pieces which work well for the different parts of the day. The right sounds can inspire and complement an event, and Harriet will ensure that the harp music for your wedding day or party is unique, magical, and a lasting memory.
Harriet performs on both a natural wood finish Salvi Diana pedal harp and also a stunning golden Salvi Electra pedal harp (the Electra is available for indoor playing only). She can also provide a smaller Clarsach harp (useful when space is at a premium), and for a more contemporary feel, a pearlescent white electric harp. Harriet mainly performs harp music in London and the Home Counties area, but will also consider weddings and events further afield depending on the date and location.
