Christmas harp music

01 December 2021

After an amazing 10 days away in early November, I came home and immediately got stuck into a seasonal project of arranging a selection of Christmas Carols for harp. Having first arranged carols for 4 Girls 4 Harps' 2013 Christmas CD, I have since always relished the chance to wite anything related to Christmas - it somehow makes me feel the season more deeply.

In 2018 I wrote a vituosic Festive Fantasy based around multiple Christmas carols. It is a fast paced and really fun arrangement which sits well in any seasonal concert programme. With harpists from across the world having bought the piece, I hope that they derive as much pleasure from playing it as I did composing it.

This year I have arranged a selection of individual Christmas Carols, all for advanced pedal harpists. Each arrangement contains my signature blend of folk and jazz inspired harmonies alongside that Christmas sparkle. So far, I have sold copies in Canada, the US, Germany, the Netherlands, Malta and the UK.

You can listen to the carols and buy the sheet music on my website www.harrietadie.com
